My Style for a Professional Monday

I had to look nice for a special professional Monday! I had a PRSSA meeting that day. Also an old friend of  mine was coming to speak on my campus that night for an event. I had to look business casual chic!

My Style for Thrift Store Shopping

Usually I blog about my DIY projects and such, but recently I decided to start to write about my favorite outfits. I wore this on a day a good friend took me thrift store shopping. I found some really great items because of her!

Usually I do not wear a scarf and a necklace together but I felt it was a cute combo worth trying. Next time I go thrift store shopping, I will not wear a scarf! It got in the way when I had to try on stuff or searching through the store. Overall, I love this outfit.

My New Pink Bunting Necklace

Recently I was watching Modern Family. I saw the character Haley wearing an awesome bunting necklace. Wanting one, I started to do research and found a blog post on how to make one from The Dainty Squid. It had great visuals and described how to make a bunting necklace really well!

I love pink, so of course I had to make a pink one. I feel this will be the first of many bunting necklaces I will make.

 

Loving my Nails

I am getting into nails now! I use to not be able to paint them well and yet I somehow have become a little better at it! When I saw this tutorial on I Spy DIY for how to put a heart on your nails, I had to try! It was my first attempt so my heart was not wonderful but I loved it!
