First Day in Paris

When we arrived at the airport, we met our tour guide, Vincent,  a tour guide who had a love for Napoleon and asking us various questions. We took a bus into the city and he drove us around, showing us the wonders of Paris. The one that made me "geek out" was seeing the Eiffel Tower. That was the moment it began to really hit me where I was. The week before I left was exams, RA (Resident Assistant) stuff, then moving home,  Mother's Day and then packing again for the trip (which I could not of done without my best friend who was at my house at 11 pm helping me...THANK YOU!). I had not had a chance to process where I was going. I kept saying under my breath, "Oh my God...Oh my God!" It is extremely beautiful in person.

Here is me in front of the tower! I tried to dress like a girl from Paris.
Did I nail it?

Below is what we all ate for dinner. A lovely salad, chicken & potatoes in great sauces and than flan!

Later my friends and I went for a walk. I found this bakery below....

And bought some macaroons! They are so colorful. I had to take a picture before I devoured them.

More on Paris later! I appreciate any feedback, so leave a comment below if you like.
